Why invest in web design for your Coventry business?
Your website is often the first thing a prospective client sees. Working with a studio focused on quality design makes sure that first impression is doing its job.
Clear user experience
Visitors find the key information quickly. Clear navigation, structured content and fast loading turn casual browsers into direct enquiries.
Fully mobile responsive
Most browsing happens on a phone, so every site I produce adapts cleanly across smartphones, tablets and desktop displays.
Supporting local visibility
Clear geographic signals help search engines connect your services to relevant searches across Coventry, Nuneaton, Warwick and the surrounding areas.
My simple web design process
- 1. Discovery and planning
I take the time to understand your business, your target audience and exactly what the site needs to do.
- 2. Design and branding
I craft the visual concepts, logo work and layout structures around your brand identity.
- 3. Development and features
I assemble your site and set up the functionality you need, such as contact forms or online booking.
- 4. Optimisation and review
I review the user experience, check every responsive layout and apply the on-page SEO essentials.
- 5. Launch and beyond
Once you've reviewed and approved it, your new website goes live and I'm still here afterwards.
Why choose Wright Designs Studio for web design in Coventry
I'm Danny Wright, and Wright Designs Studio is my studio. I've been designing for over 15 years, and I run every project myself: the first conversation, the design, the build, the launch and the support afterwards. When you call the number on this page, you get the person doing the work, not an account manager reading from a job sheet.
That matters more than it sounds. Most Coventry businesses that come to me have either been quoted thousands by an agency, been sold a template they can't edit, or paid someone who then stopped answering the phone. My approach is deliberately the opposite: one clear price, one point of contact, work you can see before you pay, and a website that is genuinely yours at the end of it.
I also design and print everything else your business needs, so your website isn't floating on its own. The logo on your site can be the logo on your van, your business cards, your flyers and your scaffold banner. When it all comes from one studio it looks deliberate, and looking deliberate is what makes a small business look established.

The Coventry businesses I work with
Coventry is a city of trades, independents and small service businesses, and that's exactly the work I'm set up for. Roofers, driveway and landscaping firms, electricians, plumbers, cleaning companies, garages, salons, barbers, gyms, takeaways, tradespeople working out of a van, and start-ups launching their first brand.
What those businesses have in common is that they don't need a fifteen-page corporate website. They need a fast, credible site that answers three questions in the first few seconds: what do you do, do you cover my area, and how do I get a price? Everything I build is planned around answering those three questions before the visitor has to scroll and think.
I also work with businesses in Nuneaton, Bedworth, Rugby, Leamington Spa, Kenilworth and across Warwickshire, plus clients all over the UK. Being local to Coventry simply means I can meet, take a call at short notice, or drop print off in person when that's easier.
Website examples from real clients
These are live client websites, not templates or mock-ups. Each one has a full case study explaining the brief, the challenges and what was delivered, so you can see the thinking rather than just the finished screen.

Local SEO for Coventry businesses
Most Coventry businesses win work from two places: Google's local map results and the standard search results underneath. A website alone doesn't get you into the map pack, your Google Business Profile does, but the two work together. Google cross-checks the information on your website against your profile, so if your name, phone number and service area don't match exactly, you're making it harder for yourself.
Every site I build launches with those foundations covered: consistent business name, phone number and service area on every page, click-to-call links so mobile visitors can ring you in one tap, unique page titles and descriptions that mention what you do and where you do it, clean heading structure, a sitemap Google can crawl, and compressed images so the site loads fast on a phone signal. Page speed and mobile usability are both things Google measures, and both are things most cheap websites get wrong.
I'll also point you at the free wins that sit outside the website: claiming and filling out your Google Business Profile properly, adding real photos of your work, listing your services, and asking happy customers for reviews. Reviews are the single biggest lever most local businesses aren't pulling. I won't write fake ones for you, and you shouldn't buy them either, but a genuine review request sent after every completed job compounds fast.
What I won't do is promise you position one for "web design Coventry" or any other competitive phrase in a fortnight. Local search takes consistent effort. What I will do is make sure nothing technical on your website is holding you back, and be straight with you about what the next step would cost if you want to push further.
Printing for Coventry businesses
Everything I design can also be printed, and delivered free anywhere in the UK. That includes business cards, flyers, leaflets, brochures, NCR duplicate pads, business stationery, guarantee certificates, PVC banners, roller banners, advertising boards and large-format scaffold banners.
The advantage of design and print coming from one studio is that artwork never gets rejected. No wrong colour profiles, no missing bleed, no low-resolution logo blown up until it blurs. I set the artwork up correctly for the material it's being printed on, check it before it goes to press and get it delivered to your door.
If you need leaflets distributed as well as printed, I offer leaflet distribution in Coventry so the whole campaign, from concept to letterbox, runs through one supplier.
Branding and logo design
A website only looks expensive if the brand behind it is solid. If you're starting from nothing, or working with a logo someone made in Word years ago, that's the place to begin. I design logos that work at every size, from a favicon in a browser tab to three metres of scaffold banner, and supply the file formats printers actually ask for.
A full brand identity adds the rules around the logo: your colour palette with exact codes, font pairings, how the logo behaves on dark and light backgrounds, and a short guidelines document. It means every future flyer, post and sign matches without anyone having to guess. If your business has outgrown its current look, rebranding handles the transition without losing the recognition you've already built.
Graphic design and social media
Between website launches and print runs, most of my work is the day-to-day design that keeps a business visible: graphic design for adverts, posters, price lists, vehicle graphics and promotional graphics for seasonal offers.
On social, content creation gives you branded, ready-to-post graphics with captions written for you, and monthly management takes the posting off your hands entirely. For trades especially, a steady stream of before-and-after posts is the cheapest advertising there is, because the work sells itself when it's presented properly.
The complete design process
The process is the same whether you're buying a logo or a full website, and it's built so you're never paying for something you haven't seen.
- 1. Tell me about the project
A phone call, WhatsApp message or the enquiry form. I'll ask what you do, who you want to attract, what's not working now and when you need it by. Usually ten minutes.
- 2. Clear quote
I confirm exactly what you get and what it costs in writing. No payment and no obligation until you are happy to go ahead.
- 3. Unlimited revisions
Colours, layout, wording, photos, whatever needs changing. I keep refining until you're genuinely happy, not until a revision limit runs out.
- 4. Approve the design
Once you sign off, the artwork or build is locked in and scheduled. For websites this is when the 48-hour clock starts.
- 5. Build, print or launch
For websites: build, testing on phone, tablet and desktop, domain connected, business email set up, hosting configured and live. For print: production, quality check and free UK delivery.
- 6. Aftercare
You have my direct number. Small tweaks, questions, extra print runs or another project, you're dealing with the same person who built it.
Website pricing, in plain numbers
One price: £379 all in. That covers design, build, your domain name, a professional business email address on that domain, and your first three months of hosting. There's no deposit to start and no hidden extras.
After three months, hosting continues at a small monthly cost, which I'll confirm in writing before you commit. Additional pages, extra print work, social media management or a full brand identity are quoted separately and always agreed up front. You'll never get an invoice for something you didn't approve.
Full details of what's included are on the website design page.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a website cost in Coventry?
My website package is £379 all in. That single price covers the design, the build, your domain name, a professional business email address on that domain and your first three months of hosting. There is no deposit, no separate design fee and no per-page charge. After the first three months, hosting continues at a small monthly cost that I'll confirm in writing before you commit to anything.
How long does a new website take?
Most sites go live within 48 hours of you approving the design. The clock starts when the design is signed off, not when we first speak, so the faster you send content and photos, the faster it launches. Rush requests are welcome, just say so when you get in touch.
Do I own my domain and website?
Yes. The domain is registered for your business and the site is yours. If you ever want to move it elsewhere, you can, and I'll help you hand it over rather than hold it hostage.
Will my website show up on Google?
Every site I build launches with the SEO foundations in place: unique page titles and descriptions, clean heading structure, fast-loading images, a sitemap and mobile-friendly layout. That gives Google everything it needs to index you properly. Ranking above established competitors for competitive terms then depends on ongoing work, so I'll tell you honestly what a £379 site will and won't achieve rather than promise page one.
Do you work with businesses outside Coventry?
Yes. I'm based in Coventry and Nuneaton but I work with businesses across the whole of the UK. Recent client sites have launched for businesses in Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, North Wales, Cheshire and Scotland. Print is delivered free anywhere in the UK.
Can you redesign my existing website?
Yes. If you already have a site that looks dated, loads slowly or doesn't work properly on a phone, I can rebuild it. I'll look at what's worth keeping, what's costing you enquiries and what needs to go, then give you a clear fixed price before you spend anything.
Do I need to write the content myself?
No. If you can tell me about your services in a phone call or a WhatsApp message, I can structure and write the pages around that. You'll always get to read and change every word before it goes live.
Can you integrate an online booking system into my current or new website?
Yes. I can build a booking system into a new site or add one to a site you already have, so customers can choose a service, pick a time slot and confirm the appointment themselves. Appointments can sync with your existing calendar and confirmations go out automatically. There's a dedicated page covering how this works on websites with booking systems.
Do you provide website maintenance and support after launch?
Yes. Hosting includes keeping the site online, backed up and up to date, and if you need wording changed, a new service added or a photo swapped, you message me and I do it. You deal with me directly rather than a support queue.
Reviews and reputation
I don't publish invented testimonials. Reviews appear on this website only when a real client has left one publicly, and you can check my Google listing yourself. If you've worked with me, a short honest review is the most useful thing you can do for the studio.
Talk to a real designer in Coventry
No sales pitch, no pressure. Tell me what you need and I'll tell you honestly whether I can help, what it costs and how quickly it can be done. You will have a fixed price in writing before you pay a penny.
