Web design for carpenters that shows the quality of the work.
Carpentry sells on finish. Nobody commissions fitted wardrobes or a staircase off a price list; they look at photographs, decide whether the work is the standard they want, and then ask what it costs.
What a carpenters and joiners website has to do
Being straight with you: I have not built a carpenter's website yet. Almost everything this studio builds is trade work — roofing, paving, tree surgery, exterior cleaning, removals — and the structure below comes straight from those builds. Joinery is a trade I would like to add, because it is the kind of work photographs well and deserves a proper gallery.
So a joinery site is built the other way round from an emergency trade: photographs first and large, the job types separated out, then the enquiry route. Bespoke work needs room to breathe, and quick repair work needs a fast phone number. Both can live on one site if the structure is right.
A page per job, not one page listing everything
People search by the job they need doing. Each of these gets its own page with its own wording, so there is something for Google to match and something for the customer to read.
Fitted wardrobes and storage
The highest-value bespoke work, sold on finished photographs, materials and the consultation process.
Kitchens and fitted furniture
Installation or bespoke builds, with the difference explained so enquiries arrive already qualified.
Staircases and bannisters
Specialist joinery searched for by name, and almost always given only a single line on a services list.
Doors, skirting and architrave
The smaller jobs that fill the diary between big installs, on their own page so they get found.
Decking, pergolas and garden structures
Seasonal outdoor work with its own search demand, worth separating from indoor joinery.
Repairs and general carpentry
Rotten frames, sticking doors and fixings, with a fast phone number for the people who need somebody today.
The things people check before they ring
For this trade, the deciding factor is rarely the design. It is whether you look registered, insured and real. All of it goes where the decision happens, not on a page nobody opens.
A gallery that does the selling
Finished work grouped by job type, large, bright and compressed so it still loads fast on mobile data.
Materials and timescales
What you build in, roughly how long a fitted job takes, and what happens on fitting day. It removes the questions that delay decisions.
Insurance and guarantees
Public liability cover and any workmanship guarantee, written plainly where people decide whether to enquire.
Reviews with a town attached
Your real Google or Facebook reviews, first name and town, sitting beside the gallery rather than on a page of their own.
Real work from neighbouring trades
Honest note: these are live sites from neighbouring trades, not joiners. All three sell on finished-job photography, which is exactly what carpentry needs.

£350 all in, then £19.99 a month
Half to start the build, the balance on completion. If you need customers to book a slot rather than wait for a callback, a website with a booking system is £479 all in.
Everything the price covers is listed on the what's included page. If price is the deciding factor, start with affordable website design, and if you want to keep climbing after launch there are monthly SEO packages from £119.
