Builder website design · Nuneaton · UK wide

Web design for builders that makes your finished work do the selling.

Building work is the biggest spend most customers will make on their house, so they research harder than for any other trade. Extensions, loft conversions and renovations are compared over weeks, and the deciding factor is nearly always the finished projects you can show.

The job

What a builders website has to do

Being straight with you: I have not built a general builder's website yet. What I have built is a long run of trade sites in neighbouring trades — roofing, groundworks-heavy paving, tree and landscaping, exterior cleaning — and that is the same job with different photographs. Builders are the trade I want next, which is why this page exists.

So judge it on the work below. Those are live sites, built to the structure a builder needs: a page per job type, genuine project galleries, and the licences, insurance and guarantees where people look for them.

Structure

A page per job, not one page listing everything

People search by the job they need doing. Each of these gets its own page with its own wording, so there is something for Google to match and something for the customer to read.

Extensions

Single and double storey, with real projects, rough timescales and how planning is handled.

Loft conversions

A separate high-value search with its own questions about headroom, stairs and building regs.

Renovations and refurbishments

Whole-house work shown as before-and-after projects rather than a list of trades.

Groundworks and foundations

Drainage, slabs and footings, which often bring in the commercial and developer enquiries.

New builds and garden rooms

Smaller self-contained builds people search for by name and book faster.

Areas covered

The towns you genuinely build in, written in properly so local searches have something to match.

Honest proof

Real work from neighbouring trades

Honest note: these are live sites from neighbouring trades — paving, roofing and landscaping — not builders. I would rather show you real work from a related trade than invent a builder example.

Price

£350 all in, then £19.99 a month

Half to start the build, the balance on completion. If you need customers to book a slot rather than wait for a callback, a website with a booking system is £479 all in.

FAQ

Questions trades ask before they book

Have you built a website for a builder before?
Not yet, and I will not pretend otherwise. Almost all of my work is trade websites — roofing, paving, tree surgery, cleaning, removals — and those are live sites you can open and judge. Builders are the trade I am actively looking to add.
How much does a builder's website cost?
£350 all in: design, build, your domain, a business email address on that domain and three months of hosting, then £19.99 a month for hosting, maintenance and support. Half to start, the balance on completion.
How do you show extensions and renovations properly?
As projects, not a gallery dump. Each job gets before, during and finished photos with a short description of what was involved, which is what convinces somebody spending £60,000.
Can I show my insurance, guarantees and memberships?
Yes, and they belong next to the enquiry buttons. Public liability cover, structural guarantees and any trade body membership are exactly what people check before ringing a builder.
How quickly can it go live?
Within 48 hours of you approving the design. Getting your project photos together is usually the slowest part, so start there.
Will it get found for builder searches in my town?
The site launches with a page per job type, genuine area wording, unique titles and descriptions, a sitemap and structured data. Building is a competitive search, so if you want to climb, monthly SEO from £119 is the honest route.
