What the project had to achieve
- Lead with flat roofing as the specialism rather than reading as a general roofer
- Put the minimum 15-year warranty in front of every visitor
- Turn the 5.0 MyBuilder rating into visible proof on the site itself
- Make a free quote or a phone call the obvious next step from anywhere
What made it tricky
- Six services, from a single slipped tile to a full flat roof replacement, had to sit together without burying the flat roofing specialism
- Proof lived on an external MyBuilder profile, so it needed bringing onto the site without inventing anything
- Most roofing enquiries come from a phone in a hurry, so the mobile journey had to be short
How I approached it
- A dark, high-contrast design in black, steel grey and the blue taken from the existing logo
- A full-screen hero with the warranty, the coverage area and two clear actions: free quote or call
- A dedicated flat roofing page explaining the build-up, the detailing and why the warranty can be given
- A six-service section covering flat roofs, new roofs, repairs, lead work, Velux windows and fascias and guttering
- A reviews section pulling through real MyBuilder feedback with a link out to the verified profile
- A gallery of completed roofs, plus an areas covered page for Surrey and London towns
- Click-to-call and a quote button fixed along the bottom of the screen on mobile
