Terms of use

These terms cover using this website. They are deliberately short, and they only state things that are actually true of how the studio works today.

Who runs this website

This website is operated by Danny Wright, trading as Wright Designs Studio, 5, The Courtyard, Nuneaton CV10 0AS. Contact details are on the contact page.

This website is information, not a contract

Nothing on this website is a binding offer. Sending an enquiry, requesting a quote or asking for a price does not create a contract, and neither does my reply. Any actual work is agreed separately between us before it starts, and you always see the design before you commit.

Prices shown on this site

Where a price is published, such as the £379 website package, it is the genuine current price for the package described on the website design page. Prices can change over time, and anything outside a published package is quoted individually. The price that applies to your project is the one I confirm to you in writing, not one taken from an older version of a page.

Where a page mentions hosting continuing after the included period, the ongoing cost is confirmed to you in writing before you commit. It is not hidden in these terms.

To confirm: Whether prices shown should be described as including or excluding VAT, and whether the business is VAT registered. I have not stated either way.

Turnaround times

The 48-hour website turnaround described on this site runs from the point you approve the design, and it assumes the content and images needed are available. It is a genuine working target based on how projects actually run, not a guarantee that applies regardless of circumstances.

Design examples and client work

The portfolio includes both real client work and studio concept pieces created to demonstrate a style. The case studies are all real projects for real clients, with live links so you can check them yourself. Client names, logos and trade marks shown on this site belong to those businesses and are used to identify work I produced for them.

Copyright

The text, layout and original artwork on this website belong to Wright Designs Studio. Please do not copy pages, articles or designs from this site for use elsewhere. Quoting a short passage with a link back is welcome.

Ownership of work I produce for you is agreed as part of that project. Once a website project is paid for, the domain is registered in your name and the site is yours.

Links to other websites

This site links to live client websites and to third-party resources. Those sites are not under my control, and I am not responsible for their content or their own privacy practices.

Accuracy and availability

I keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but I cannot promise it is free of errors, or that the site is always available. Guides and articles are general advice, not advice tailored to your business.

How enquiry details, cookies and analytics are handled is set out in the privacy notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute about this website.

To confirm: If you want project-level contractual terms published as well, such as payment stages, cancellation, refunds, revision limits or ongoing hosting notice periods, those need to come from you as facts. I have not written any, because inventing contract terms would be worse than having none.
