How much does a website cost?
With me, £350 all in for a bespoke small business website, then £19.99 a month after the first three months. Elsewhere you will see anything from a few pounds a month for a DIY builder to several thousand for an agency build. What moves the price is the number of pages, whether the design is bespoke or a template, and whether things like bookings or payments are needed.
Is £350 really the whole price?
Yes. £350 covers the design, the build, your domain name, a business email address on that domain, your SSL certificate and the first three months of hosting. There is no per-page charge and no setup fee. Payment is split into a 50% deposit to start and the balance on completion.
What does the £19.99 a month cover?
Hosting, website maintenance, security updates, technical support and general help with your site. It starts after your free three months and you can pay it monthly.
What happens if I want changes later?
Small tweaks are part of the monthly support. Bigger additions, like new pages or a booking system, are quoted first so you always know the cost before I start.
Do I own my website and domain?
Yes. The domain is registered for your business and the website is yours.
Do I pay anything to see a design?
I take a 50% deposit to start the website build, then final payment on completion.
