What the project had to achieve
- Present private dining as a premium experience rather than a catering price list
- Turn interest into detailed event enquiries with dates, guest numbers and location
- Give sample menus and pop-up events their own space so guests can picture the evening
What made it tricky
- Food photography had to lead the page without slowing it down on a phone
- Several very different services, from private dining to weddings, corporate events, tapas evenings, BBQs and buffets, needed clear separation
- A wide coverage area across Hertfordshire, Essex, Kent and the Cotswolds had to read as deliberate, not vague
How I approached it
- A dark, editorial design with a full-screen hero, script logo and gold accents to match the brand
- Dedicated pages for private catering, sample menus, pop-up events, gallery, testimonials and FAQs
- A service grid covering private dining, weddings, corporate events, tapas evenings, BBQs and buffets
- A single, prominent enquiry route repeated through the page so an event can be started from anywhere
- Compressed, responsive imagery so the gallery stays fast on mobile data
