What the project had to achieve
- Let customers price a collection themselves instead of waiting for a callback
- Make same-day and next-day collection obvious straight away
- Show the waste carrier licence and the recycling rate as proof of a responsible operator

What made it tricky
- Waste jobs are hard to price online, so the journey had to offer more than one way in
- Load sizes mean nothing to most people, so they needed explaining simply
- Booking and paying had to be quick enough to finish on a phone
How I approached it
- A bold design in black, white and the green and yellow taken from the existing logo
- Three pricing routes: choose a load size, pick individual items, or send a photo for a quote
- Clear from-prices so nobody has to guess before enquiring
- Online booking with a chosen collection slot
- A licensed carrier badge, the recycling rate and real Google reviews used as trust signals
- An areas covered section for Wrexham, Chester, Nantwich, Shrewsbury, Holywell, Bangor-on-Dee and Liverpool
- A short FAQ section answering the questions that usually arrive by phone
